1st the
painting and drawing weeks A and B will be in 't Struweel in Rijsoord, alittle
village between Rotterdam and Dordrecht, Holland
participation
the
themes are
the old cultural landscape of Holland
the typical Dordrecht architecture of the
golden age
the unique Dutch light
color and atmosphere of a landscape
garden
individual
instruction, led by a Dutch artist and professor, Marja de Jong, starts with a small group at
10:00 AM and
lasts until about 16:00 PM
arrival at 9:30 AM in the
quarters of 't Struweel, the landscape is located directly in back of it and
is arranged with various landscape elements
every day there will
be a work discussion at the end or beginning of the day
the
duration of the painting and drawing weeks A and B is a week each
the costs are

275 per p.p. (including

Dordrecht (Dordt) is the oldest city in Holland.
It is located on the island of Dordrecht which is bounded by the Rivers Beneden
Merwede, Oude Maas, Kil and Nieuwe Merwede. The old town center was an island itself
for a few hundred years because of the Sint Elizabethsvloed in 1421. All the
villages around it disappeared. For
