Some of the
premier trout fishing in the world can be found on the Blackfeet Reservation. Record
Rainbow Trout have come from Duck Lake which is located near Babb. Seven other beautiful
lakes lie within an hour's drive and numerous streams boast Cutthroat, Dolly Varden, and
Lake Trout. Many of these lakes offer world class trout fishing and professionally guided
fly fishing is also available. Fishing permits are required on the Blackfeet Indian
Reservation. Two golf courses are nearby and excellent duck and goose hunting is available
in the fall.
During the summer you can
enjoy the Glacier Gateway Rodeo every Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. The rodeo grounds are
located on highway 2 at mile marker 211 between East Glacier Park and Browning.
You can try your skill at
skeet shooting, at a nominal fee, in one of our teepee camps, and we will provide archery
at several camps as well as instructions and plenty of targets.
